R.I.P. Paul Newman.

I just wore my Newman Day t-shirt on Thursday, too. And I never wear that t-shirt. Another one of life's funny little coincidences, I guess... unless it's not a coincidence and I somehow killed Paul Newman. It's really sad though. He went to Kenyon, so there's a little emotional connection there. Nick and I always go out of our way to buy Newman's Own products, even if they are a little more expensive, it all goes to charity. You should read the article above if you don't know too much about him. He was one of those good, classy guys, and an amazing actor to boot. I just watched The Color of Money this week too- not my favorite, but still a great movie. A few weeks ago I had a string of his movies come through Netflix, now I'm thinking I might have to do a Paul Newman movie marathon, just like how I mourned Heath.

I just finished hanging these Warhol prints I bought back in January. It took hours to: buy the frames, paint the frames, paint the plastic mounting because the frames were too big, affix the prints to the mounting, set in frame, decide how to attach frames to wall since there was no hanging device built on the frame, put the little hook things on the wall, hang the prints, and adjust. They are hung in a very Warholian fashion, too, which is no easy task, might I add.

Lots of work, but damn, they look good. Color me proud.
